      I went for Murphy. A bit unlucky in GW1 as he got sacrificed for an additional defender because of Schar's red card. However, great pre-season and easy fixture.

      CHO/Elanga

      BBD - does he have pens for Sou?

      I actually started the season with Pereira over ESR as liked him for set pieces - with Anderson/Berge coming in hope to see some success though hes the most vulnerable in my team and may look to move him to emergent 6.5 option soon

      I wouldn't dismiss Amad yet. I think he'll get minutes most weeks for the foreseeable. Sancho may be leaving, Hojlund is injured and Zirkzee is not proven over 90 minutes. It leaves Rashford potentially as CF, and Garnacho and Amad as preferred wingers over Antony. Even as an impact sub he's a good option for that price.

        Have both. Wouldn't do that. There's no good 4.5 mid and Rogers will end up one of FPL buys of the season.

          Definitely 4.5m mids is only good for fodder from what we see after 1 GW. But what good is the extra 0.5m on the bench when balance in backs and mids needs to change?

          True...not sure if Nkunku gets more than 60-70 mins.... Southampton has a good chance of getting a CS against forest....confusing....this Nkunku pick has been a total disaster...I have 0.5m in the bank and can't wait to take him out for Eze/ Mbeumo next week

          1. Ze_Austin
            • 6 Years

            I'll take 30 minutes of Nkunku over a defender who can concede 2+ with a random YC

            And then sell Nkunku for GW3 if he doesn't get enough minutes

            Keep THB at third sub until Southampton prove themselves to be better than the usual promoted defence

        LIVERPOOL | Jarell Quansah picked up a "bit of injury" on Tuesday and subsequently missed Wednesday's training session.

              I got triple captain correct once. It was a Rashford haul on a DGW, although I think it all came in the first match and the second was underwhelming. Every other time it was disappointing.

              What I would about the Haaland TC upside is this... He is currently only owned by 53.8% of the game. If there's a DGW later in the season and he has a couple of home matches, everyone will go down that route. Going this weekend feels like higher risk and higher reward.

        Since you're going to be starting again with only 1FT next week, I would be inclined to take fewer risks. Lewis, Bernado, Minteh, Welbeck, Rogers...they all have a degree of rotation risk that builds up in your team and could need attention a bit too soon and all at once.

      Def:
      Porro - Andersen - Robinson - Quansah - Barco

      Also have Nkunku that may be a doubt.

      Would love to roll a transfer but I guess I have to beef up my defence…

      A) Quansah -> 4.4 max
      B) Nkunku + Quansah -> Mf + def
