That bus team is very close to my WC team (although I’m keeping some Arsenal)

    Raya
Trent / Robertson / Rico Lewis / Robinson
    Salah / Saka / Semenyo / Rogers
    Haaland / Pedro

    Fabianski / Wood / Winks / Greaves

I’m going stats over early fixs for Semenyo, they look unreal for a 5.5, can’t ignore that.

I’ll roll for two GWs after then get to the magical 5FTs & start playing the game normally from there.

    Early thoughts,
Son, Hall -> Palmer, Lewis no hit?

    Henderson
    TAA - Porro - Robinson
Salah - Son - Saka - Rogers - Smith Rowe
    Isak - Muniz

    Slicker - Solanke* - Hall - Barco*

    2FT, 0.9ITB

    Cheers

Good moves, Solanke will probably be back so you’ll still have a piece of Spurs.

    2. Gabriel/Porro + Gordon -> TAA/ Diaz (Leaving 1.3m ITB)
    3. Gordon + Saka -> Salah + Eze. (Leaving 0.3m ITB)

    Henderson.
    Porro, Gabriel, Robinson.
    Saka, Jota, Smith- Rowe, Rogers.
    Haaland, Isak, Pedro.

Palmer doesn't appear to be in many of the top ranked teams. most appear to have both Salah & Haaland...

He's still owned by more than Salaf atm. 42.7 to 40.1. Neither of them exactly differentials in the classic sense.

You just can’t have them all, everyone would have them if they could.

      I guess it’s about prioritising

City, Liverpool & Arsenal are better teams than Chelsea so maybe their premiums are rated higher, if he was priced like last year, he’d be 100% owned.

Also, these big players can score in any fixs so form is a bigger factor than fix, maybe that’s why he’s overlooked when the 3 I mentioned are getting returns.

I'm currently top 12k with no chips used and I've been on Saka and Haaland (but also with the likes of Wood, Mbuemo etc since GW1). I am jumping on Salah for the next two and then back to Saka for 6 and 7. As a few have said, we can't have them all so it will just be a case of jumping on and off the premiums for fixture swings etc.

Same, dropped down to 44k this week with only Haaland & Saka, I’ve wildcarded to make sure I don’t have to sell Saka because I know that Salah to Saka swap in GW6 will be impossible to do if I sold him now.

    Shameless repost

    Gordon out for;

    Mitoma

Okay, there are get out routes for cheap enablers

    Pedro to Vardy
    Rogers to Carvalho (once nailed)
    Wood to Vardy
    Rico Lewis to anyone 4.5

No reason to get stuck with anyone this year, for example, Leicester have a nice long run of fixs in a few weeks, Vardy (even at his age) will come into play.

Think WC is set for now, just that 5th mid is weak but other 10 spots should be able to spread the load of scoring points.

    Johnstone
    Trent, Gabriel, Robinson
    Salah, Saka, Diaz, Semenyo, Buonantte
    Haaland, Pedro

Only Salah and Haaland have more bonus points than Chris Wood so far.

Many of the big accounts have a distain for him because they were so big on Muniz who has flopped massively.

His performance is no fluke, his stats hold their own but for some reason, even now he’s a ‘bad pick’, I really hope he’s on pens, the 360 will be amusing.

I hear you. I've switched to J Ped from Wood this week as part of a -4 to get Salah in and to try to catch some TV.
I'm holding the WC to use between 5 and 6 and could well get him back in then.

I've had him since GW1. Great opening fixtures and was in good form in the second half of last season. (I think he scored 14 goals in 20 games or something). Feels like more of a focal point for Forest than Muniz does for Fulham

Just Wood to JP (can do Saka to Salah for free next week) and stick for now?
Tempted by WC tho to get Salah now and get rid of ESR, Rogers, Murphy and maybe Jota.

    Henderson
    TAA/Konsa/Robinson
    Saka/Jota/ESR/Rogers
    Haaland(c)/Isak/JP*

    Bentley/Murphy/Gabriel/Johnson

    How’s this squad look?

    Sels 4.0
    Tino Robinson Mosquera Greaves THB
    Salah Saka Palmer Eze Rogers
    Haaland Pedro Wheatley

I’d have three 4.0 DF to rotate which isn’t ideal but it gives me a fantastic front 7.

Don't really agree with this, just pick the team that gets you the most points. And if that's with three premiums, so be it.

But yeah, the backline is a mess. If you really want 4 premiums, go with a 5.5 mid instead of Eze and get some 4.5 defs in there.

Thinking Saka + Gordon -> Salah + Mitoma. Currently have 0.1 wiggle room. Not making the transfers until deadline day so if it looks like I'll get priced out I'll just get Minteh instead. Team would then be. Thoughts?

    Henderson
    TAA Konsa Robinson

I did Saka and Isak to Salah and Pedro -4 without too much thought. Isak has not been the 8.5m forward I was hoping for. Newcastle looking poor and not great away. Pedro 2 nice home fixture punt to 6 when I may use WC

Saka and Isak falling, Salah rising....

Isak, Saka -> Salah, Welbeck (-4)

Have Pedro, plan to WC GW6 and liking Brightons fixtures

Saka has only risen by .1 so any drop and you don't lose any value.

Is Andersen going to become a starting player for Fulham? I've had him since day 1 and wondering if I need to get rid.

Morning guys, still debating whether to pull the wildcard trigger.
    It basically comes down to
Non WC = Jota, Bruno, Isak
    WC = Salah, Mbeumo, 4.5

I'd also be able to tidy up my bench on WC so would be maybe 5 or 6 changes.

Worth it, or even a -8 to get Salah?

I think wc and -4 worth it but -8 feels a lot but it is FOMO right now with Salah...I have similar issue to do -4.... years ago TAA and Robertson could match Salah's ppg over the season... but right now we're worried about not having Salah over next 2 gws at least

Yeah true. I already have TAA and could do Gabriel to Robbo for free. Maybe that is the more sensible option, and maybe WC6 to get Arsenal in

If it improves your squad in the short term and sets you up for mid-long term then why not. GW6 fixture swing is plannable.

People justifying Palmer as 3rd premium saying he will get hauls and +200pts. Mostly likely both true. But they're getting 4.5 spuds in mid or non playing forward which creates several problems.
      1. Forced to play same 11 each week most likely.
      2. Decreased flexibility to cover injury or dropped player.
      3. Decreased flexibility to jump on mid priced "must have" without downgrading premium.
      4. With better premiums probably not going to have the C on when they haul.
      5. Palmer + 4.5m season total probably won't beat someone going circa 7.5m+7.5m or variation

Isn't this the same as any 3x premium team that involves both Salah & Haaland?

Why not call out the likes of Saka & Son (or KDB & Foden when more relevant)?

Due to price rises elsewhere it's unlikely at everyone's current prices you can afford a 5.0m MID over 4.5m MID now, unless you started with that one.

Also, might as well share my likely team after IB:

          Henderson Flekken
          TAA Porro Robinson Lewis Barco
          Palmer Saka Jota ESR Rogers
          Haaland Muniz Pedro

3x premiums with GK cover, defensive cover (even with non-playing Barco) midfield/attack cover

Not 'optimal' as not a wildcard and ESR/Muniz/Barco I'd swap for alternatives (+ Jota next week probs!)... but decent enough.

If Palmer/Saka/Haaland was Salah, I'd agree with you somewhat more due to the 2-2.5m saving.

My team after -4 Saka to Salah
            Hendo (Bentley)
            TAA Porro Lewis Robinson (Barco)
            Salah Eze Madueke Jota Rogers
            Haaland Pedro Wood

        3. Is always a trap and a waste of transfers so I’m not sure it’s a negative.

For example, loads would have jumped on Madueke after his hatrick, blank this week, I’m guessing most will jump on Mbuemo this week, likely blank, Smith Rowe got loads of transfers in after his 10 points, blanked & now being sold.

It’s not always a good thing, especially now you can roll so many transfers for more impactful moves when fixs swing.

I'm happy I jumped on Madueke was Chelsea's most attacking player vs Palace. Inches away from 2 goals and set up the goal with pass to Palmer for the assist

      current team

      Henderson/Bentley
      TAA/Gabriel/Robinson/Johnson/Barco
      Saka/Gordon/Jota/ESR/Sangare
      Haaland/Isak/Muniz

      1.5 ITB 2 FTs

      Saka Gabriel
      To
      Salah konsa

Or WC? It seems I've already missed few price changes, so maybe stick to the GW 6 WC?

Thoughts on Konsa > Digne + Wissa > Pedro?

Will be looking at Digne, Davis and Ait- Nouri for attacking fullbacks over these CB’s who collect 2 pointers.

Wissa will return to my team but I want Pedro (h) to Ipswich + Forest while while Wissa is @ City + Spurs.

Wissa returning for (h) to West Ham + Wolves.

I don’t see Digne being dropped anytime soon either.

I like the idea of Digne but he’s always a risk of injury, even more so with an intense CL schedule, feels like a problem that can be avoided.
