Haaland vs Newcastle is tempting but Ice cold Palmer vs Brighton might not be too shabby.

I’m yet to have a captain blank so this could be it

Newcastle are terrible and Haaland has 10 in 5.

      Only slight concern I'd Ghandi

Yes they are. Would love if they get spanked so my friend can stop being so arrogant about how her club has transformed.

But I don’t trust City without Rodri & Kdb even if they are back I just fancy Ice cold Palmer to do well, probably a mega haul 🙂

Haaland is now through 71% ownership
It's boring but I think permacap Haaland is going to be very popular from here

Yes EO is looking scary. My prediction would be 7 pts max as Newcastle could prove stubborn. Palmer has a better haul potential this gw imo especially if Kdb & Rodri are both ruled out.

I just won’t be a sheep this gw, gotta be brave like a lion pouncing on its prey 🙂

Final wildcard slots, do you prefer

    A. Flekken, Wood (+ Winks as 8th attacker, 3-4-3)
    B. Raya, Rogers (+ Stewart or other 4.5 fodder striker as 8th attacker, 3-5-2, Raya would be third Arsenal with Gab and Saka)

Started on A but am leaning B, it obviously just leaves a slightly weaker bench

      B

How many points hit is fine before using the wildcard?

None imo. This is a really good WC window so I think it's better to pull it than to take a hit. I just can't see it being optimal for the majority of teams to take a hit at this point. I'd only consider taking a hit if it sets you up with a good plan to save WC until GW12. There are very few teams that fit that criteria imo.

        Thanks mate.

I am thinking about taking an 8 point hit and retaining the wildcard. One of the moves is Sangare to Dibling. Madness?

          Complete madness imo. Just WC.

Let’s see your team- personally if you aren’t doing much and can take a -4 I would save it

V much team dependent...show your team which will help matters. Sangare to Dibling looks like a tidy up.

Wildcard a team that gives you five weeks without transfers. You will have another half WC after that and no hits 😉

Henderson -99% on FPL stats and -49% on FFHub.

Which has been most reliable so far?

Hub seemed to predict better yesterday with the WC’s in play. Loads of players were close to a drop on fplstats and then changed to -30/-50% afterwards

Saka and Konsa or Gabriel and Diaz?

      Gabriel and Diaz for sure

Yep - in isolation definitely this (if you already have Saliba maybe I’d go Saka, Konsa)

On WC? Can you downgrade elsewhere to get Gabriel and Saka

Anyone else on Triple Arsenal defense?

      Raya, Gabriel & Saliba

      Tempted by Calafiori, fun pick

Considering it, but I think Saka is worth the midfield spot.

    Havertz in for Pedro.
Can't get to Saka. Probable red arrow incoming

Good option. Would be getting Havertz if I WC

  8. GreatCarragherReef

This doesn’t need a WC right? 0 FT, would ideally get Pedro out (wood to Pedro last week has gone terribly…)

    Henderson (Vald)
    TAA, Gabriel, Porro (Faes, Harwood-Bellis)
    Palmer, Eze, Mbuemo, Rogers (Winks)
    Haaland, Watkins, Pedro

    0FT, 1.2itb

No all good - you’ve got most bases covered. Ideally you’d want another arsenal - could consider Henderson to Raya with your money ITB but think you can get away with holding.

Cheers, yeah can’t stomach a -4 for a keeper. Also think Raya is a waste of a spot- Gabriel, Saka and either Havertz or Calafiori is the goal

Looks ok can’t see anything really worth a hit

  9. SAUCY SALAH

    Is this worth a -4?

    Foden, Eze & Porro
    To
    Saka, Semenyo & Gabriel

    1. GreatCarragherReef
      • 9 Years
      3 months, 5 days ago

Can you just do Foden to Saka?

      1. SAUCY SALAH

        No money ITB

Then yeah probably but hard to say without the rest of your team. Eze and Porro are still decent picks imo

            Thanks:

            Muric
            Trent | Porro | Robinson
            Salah | Foden | Mbeumo | Eze | Rogers
            Haaland | Joao Pedro

            Fabianski | Lewis | Greaves | Stewart

Nice transfers, but would get ESR over Semenyo if I had the funds personally

Yes do like ESR and had him before, only issue is immediate fixtures

Semenyo’s next 2 are great, but if you plan to keep him for 5 GW’s or longer, he arguably has tougher fixtures ahead. Not to mention Fulham seem to be a stronger team so far. That said I’ve been looking at Semenyo too, but struggling to see how he may be a better option

    On WC would you pick:

    A) ESR & DCL
    B) Semenyo & Wood

    Why?

    1. C0YS
      • 8 Years
      3 months, 5 days ago

A bit of a toss-up there. ESR > Semenyo, Wood > DCL. I would probably go A because ESR seems to be the indisputable best mid under 6m, whereas the cheap forward category isn’t as clear.

    2. GreatCarragherReef

Presume you have Rogers already. If not, Rogers and Wood

I don't think I'd pick Rogers over ESR.

I'm tempted to pick Semenyo just for GW6 & 7, but planning transfers on a WC is not ideal either.

Is Madueke + Pedro to ESR + Wood a good idea for no hit? Anyone else worth getting in the 5-6m range instead?

On wildcard; quick game of this or that?

    1. ESR
    2. Semenyo

    A. Mazraoui
    B. Aina
    C. Konsa

Yeah, refer above. Semenyo short term, ESR long(er) term.
