It certainly was the obvious time to play it.
Lucky for me I burnt it GW2.

Need to lose JPedro or Welbz
If JPedro is coming back strong Oct 6 its Welbz to go
Suppose no one knows any more about JP?

no, is he locked from falling further yet? (not that 0.1 matters)

This is a good question, might take a -4 for Pedro to Delap but partly for the 0.1 saving which I have plans for. If Pedro is price locked I can wait and see but haven't seen any discussion on this.

    c) 1FT Harwood-Bellis > Davis/VdV and bench a&b

feel like johnson could easily lose some form though and then odobert becomes very strong competition.

kulu is just playing on another level, dont see Sarr coming back in for him now. Spurs' attack looks much better with him and Maddison dictating things

    Haaland | Wood | Vardy

    WC Team:

    Haaland - DCL

    A) Salah > Palmer for free
    B) Diaz + TAA > Palmer + 5.4m DEF of choice for -4
    C) Roll

As Rossi kindly pointed out to me, Salah > Palmer would leave cash to turn DCL > Watkins
Surely that outscores Salah + DCL?

Not sure if for me, but previously posted about this:

        A) Havertz/Diaz/TAA > Solanke/Palmer/4.9m

        Retains Saka, but loses Trent.

        B) Havertz/Saka/Diaz > Solanke/Palmer/Maddison

Can do the first two from B now but assume I won't be able to afford it by next GW, hence the 3rd player. No Arsenal attackers here...

        C) Saka/Diaz/DCL > Palmer/McNeil/Solanke

Loses Saka but retains Havertz. Loses Diaz but gains McNeil (sort of a placeholder pick, but partly as rotation with Semenyo is good).

... however I don't think selling either of Saka/Havertz is the play this week. Should have both mega-halved vs. LEI.

yes it was. (When you were WC and waiting for Diaz to get to 8.0) and were happy days Friday nigh

I'd lose Trent 100%. I dont see Liverpool keeping CS after ITB, and trent.has only one return so far in attack

i cant make up my mind with one Arsenal,(Raya) no Palmer, who to go for. Keeping Salah one more game week (and Captain him) was lucky. But Liverpool turnaround next week is small. Thats the only thing going for Palace.

So I am selling Jota/Salah this week for sure.

I understand your viewpoint for sure. Good point on turnaround too. Early kickoff away from home as well.

I guess the thing with Arsenal is soon they have tough fixture too... but yeah Salah eats up so much. Obviously still scored and still getting points, but played poorly.

My decisions haven't gone well plenty of times so beware what I say though!

I got very lucky so far. TC Haaland got me into the top 20k, and slipped to 50k.Still not top of mini league though.

They got in Shanchez for his pen save and had McNeill this week. Far play to her

I am not sure whether to do a -4, -8 or WC yet

Haha. Oh yeah. I notched that 0.1m and to be honest it came in super useful.

Was thinking of selling Diaz after, then news came out after about the Wolves illnesses. Raya (in theat draft) didn't travel to the hotel the night before... which didn't affect Diaz but what I could do when redistributing money.

The Liverpool fixtures certainly don't look great very soon. Palace not the best fixture to ship them for really however, and Trent can always deliver I guess.

But my defense is set up decently to cover I guess. Even if Lewis misses out, Greaves (WHU) not awful. Mykolenko (NEW) not -amazing- and would probably go Ait Nouri if I had the extra 0.1m!

yeah. RAN is on 4 yellows already though, so you'll have to wait until they play Palace.

Odd contract he has, only on 10k a week but has a 50% sell-on to some small club, as we were sniffing in the Summer.

W miss Olise, but he is WORLD CLASS. We tried to Get Carney Chukwuemeka but he chose not to, so got Chalobah instead.(as it was a loan to buy)

Hopefully, things will change when Nketiah plays no.9

Oh fair about RAN. Hope he fell to 4.3m due to a yellow! Won't though since he scored...

He'll definitely go to a bigger club soon enough. Even we were supposedly interested. Reckon our interest probably cools now as we have 'proper' wingers and thus more restricted fullbacks.

Yeah, Olise a massive massive loss for you. Makes it harder for Eze, but also Eze needs to get out of his own backside and play for the team. Far too greedy.

You might be able to get Carney for a cut-price deal given Enzo came out and said yesterday that we were trying to sell him!

Agree. Nketiah #9 surely coming soon... Glasner gonna be stubborn though...

2FT 0ITB TV took a big hit this last week in falls, and Salah will cost me too (and Eze tonight)

    Raya (4.0)
    Munoz, Trent Robinson (Hall, Barco)
    Jota, Salah, Rogers, Semenyo, Eze
    Haaland Mateta (Pedro)

    WC Territory?

or Salah Jota and Mateta to Saka/Palmer Mbuemo and Solanke/Havertz? for a hit? Defence still looks awful. Last game for Trent but WC in ITB?

WC is first go, but will watch price rises/falls

    Raya 4.0
Timber Gvardiol, 4.5 (probably VDV) VDB, Greaves
    Palmer Mbeumo Rogers Martinelli Carvalho
    Haaland Solanke Watkins

And the tide is turning now, I don’t feel I can get away with a cheapie like DCL alongside Haaland and a dud fodder third striker in Cannon.
Something has to give, and Salah out……even though I hate it……just makes the best sense.

it'd go Watkins as they have 4 fixtures over Arsenal's 2.

Yeah very true, Watkins does seem the much stronger option and more likely of hauls, just always so involved, whereas it’s spread throughout Arsenal

again, another reason for Salah/Jota/ Diaz. You know Liverpool will get a couple of goals, but who going to score them and Gapko might too.

It is a good move. I dont know whether to do Palmer or Saka (only have one Arsenal and got away with it big time, and hope Palmer doesn't go up 0.4 like Diaz did.

It could be a -4 and -8 or a WC.

      1. RICICLE

Cheers Crunchie! Yeah….it feels ever so slightly better knowing Liverpool’s fixtures toughen slightly now. Could say the same for Chelsea but I only see Pool as their tougher opponent in this run.

Hmmm, I am firmly in the no Saka camp, so I’d definitely say Palmer.
I dunno what it is, but I’d never trust Saka with captaincy, and can’t ever recall where he’s gone and scored a hatty or hauled massively. With Palmer you do get that. I’m an absolute fool for getting rid of him last GW.

A -4 isn’t so bad at all, and a -8 you would have to look at in isolation and convict to it, but a WC sure is alluring and tempting knowing how much you can change up.

Team is above mate. I love a little input. I held off last week but I am not sure if it can last GW12.
My WC is a 5 minute 1.30am going to bed soon for a 5-hour kip and regret it tomorrow lol

Oh yes of course, I’ve just gone and taken a look haha.

If it was me, and the way I play and if I had your team, it’s not bad…..but I personally would WC, and carry the FT’s over, there’s just a lot you can have fun with and change there.

Mateta, Eze, the bench in Hall and Barco, Pedro…..can even sort Jota in the process 🙂

the bench oh just Hall and 3 Palace isnt healthy. My god after watching the Arsenal game, and the Lecister keeper , I dont know how I got away with it.

              Cheers mate.

See you in the week, if not through the window!

Yeah agreed, 3 palaces could do with a freshen up hehe. I think the WC would be a solid decision.
We were lucky for the Arsenal and Leicester game but I fully went without Saka knowing these fixtures to come, he should be way mor capable of hauls but just never seems to do it, often just an assist here and there or one goal.

Haha indeed pal see you in a weeks time! Hopefully it’ll be good moves for us.

This is true, and anotber factor at play for Salah, whereas Palmer has no European duties.
I still feel rank selling Salah haha! But for how it bolsters elsewhere, and admittedly how much Salah can infuriate at his value/cost, I feel deep down it’s the smart play.

          yeah i do.

I got him GW5, but he missed an open goal, and the pen was his saving grace.

Maybe one week to early perhaps, but Palmers/Saka/Watkins/Havertz you cant have them all.

I am going cheaper and cheaper in defence

Oh is that Salah you mean in GW 5?

Indeed you simply cannot have them all, I do know Salah just sucks too much funds and for the cost, you need more returns, even though he started the season strongly to warrant it.

yeah mate, it was saka before that, and took a punt on Mateta V Leicester/Man Utd and Everton.

Got 13,1,1 so I will take that and run. Nketiah has to be no.9 soon.

              Has big ego.
OLise/Eze were putting it on a plate for him, and was talking about a CL club move next summer. Think the Olympics went to his head a little bit.

Good. No returns in a 4-2 game does not warrent 3 bps.

There will be tears with these BPS adjustments throughout the season.

Probably from the same people who were whining that stat changes did not count previously... like that time Solly March never got his goal.

Just Semenyo for me. Hoping for some returns tomorrow morning.

He might hurt me but 10% ownership isnt too high, really wanted him but had to go Sinisterra instead to afford Palmer

            Great choice with Palmer.

Ye feels worth it now, a Saka haul v Sou could make it a closer call tho

I was intrigued. Went Semenyo like the masses but could easily see Sinisterra or Tav outscore him

He gets a ton of chances despite his limited mins, Tav was a thought for me too

I got Semenyo in after watching the Liverpool game where he looked fantastic and the head coaches encouraging words about him during the comeback vs Everton. All 3 of them could score well though as Southamptonhave been there for the taking so far.

He was like 86 or 89 with a triple up arrow when I looked around 8pm.

I got him in just to be safe!
