On the verge of another international break, let’s look at not just the third week of Fantasy FC draft match-ups but also Sleeper’s free Pick’em predictor game.
The first part of Fantasy weekend preparations always involves looking at the imminent fixtures and predicting how they might go. We’ll try to guess Matchday 7 via Pick’em, which offers monthly and season prizes.
If you see yourself as a bit of a top-flight Nostradamus, it’d be a good idea to download the app – available from the App Store and Play Store – and then join our Scout league.
SCOUT SLEEPER DRAFT UPDATE
In case you’ve missed it, 10 Scout members of staff sat down before Matchday 4 and committed themselves to a season-long draft.
It’s part of our association with Sleeper, a popular app now branching into Premier League football after several years of hosting US sports contests.
This is how Matchday 6 played out:
Marc (Jinxed Jobling) and Chris (Fielding Foxes) lost their 100% records, meaning Scott (Team ScottWorrall) is the only one to have won all three, after thrashing Ed (FC Pepe Silvia) 91.25 – 25.00.
Elsewhere, Neale (Team SkontoRigga) owned Cole Palmer’s huge 56.5 points but still lost to Tom (Cold Palmer FC). It was an unlucky defeat, as these accumulated the highest two scores.
Up next are these Matchday 7 fixtures:
MATCHDAY 7 PICK’EM
Meanwhile, in Pick’em, you predict wins and draws for the upcoming matches, earning a point for every correct guess. Not only is there a football shirt of choice to be won each month but the season-long victor will gain £7,500 worth of prizes.

If Jurgen Klopp was around, he’d fume at Liverpool having this lunchtime kick-off just three days after Champions League football. Crystal Palace is a tricky away trip too, so we’ve gone for a draw.
Alongside that are comfortable wins for Arsenal and Brentford at home to the league’s bottom two, plus Aston Villa following up their Bayern Munich victory by beating Manchester United.
Brighton and Hove Albion’s high-line can be exposed by an attacking Tottenham Hotspur side, while Nottingham Forest won’t quite get to repeat their shock Anfield win when at Chelsea.
Beyond that, a straightforward three points for Manchester City and Bournemouth.
