With AM, BB & WC left and TAA*, Hall*, Palmer*, Mateta*, is WC30 and AM31-33 the best approach?

Almost certainly. A few fixtures to be decided yet but you’re quite behind on the chips already.

      Maybe not

I have AM too and still waiting for which teams double and when

I think if west ham double in 33 that's the best game to target for AM. If Brentford double that's another one to target

If neither double in 33 I'd use the BB there and AM maybe in 36

Mateta should be back and could well be in your WC team if he is. But I still think WC30 may be best option. I've got a decent team for this week, but with AM, BB, FH and WC left to play, WC30 to get Palace, City Newcastle in then AM on Glasner or Howe 31 seems a good option.

WC was a big success (so far) but now faced with the decision about selling Bruno

    3 FTs, 8.4 ITB

    Bruno Mbuemo Elanga Kluivert Sarr
    Wood Haaland Evanilson

Wood is definitely going for Isak/Mateta.
Bruno/Mbuemo out for Salah depending on who doubles??
Bruno owners looking to sell if United don't have a DGW 33?

Bruno is in don't sell / don't buy territory now. He's in fantastic form but United's fixtures are tough.

69 points, with non FH 10 players.
What could have been had I captained Fernandes over Wood and brought in Elanga over CHO…

    Highlight of my season.

I FH this week (had too many Palace, Newcastle and Liverpool) and last night was the highlight of my season too.

Dalot A to Bruno (C) G was huge, and got me to 88.

My best week of the season!
94 ! Mainly due to listening to mark on black box and bringing in Elanga and my gut in captaining Bruno !

I'm a little bit gutted about not getting Elanga myself. Told my mate that Elanga and CHO were more likely of a goal than MGW, but also more likely to blank. Whereas MGW was more likely to at least get an assist for someone.

Couldn't decide between Elanga and CHO tbh, so can't regret it.

I have all chips minus TC remaining and am seriously considering WC30 instead of WC31 to take advantage of the Leicester and Soton fixtures. I will likely triple up on Newcastle and Palace regardless of waiting an extra week.

I still have fires to put out like TAA and Hall plus no Isak, no Palace vs Soton and no City vs Leicester. I guess it may be situation dependent.

I feel like I'm in a decent position but still want to WC. Took a few punts on GW29 and some paid off - I ditched Trent, Palmer and Gakpo for Ait Nouri, Fernandes and Haaland, captaining Fernandes for a total of 68. However, I have one Newcastle, no Palace, players that I don't want (Dango, Schade, Mbeumo, DIgne and Fabianski), and all chips left other than AM.

Now feels like the perfect time to do the WC and set my team up for 9 GWs with a much better team that attacks the remaining fixtures, with a long time to capitalise on price changes.

Im in the same situation with the chips.

ManU form is on the way up and Im thinking of using the AM chip on Amorim for GW30 and GW31 then switch to Glasner/Howe for 32. WC in DGW33 and FH in 34.

      Hm, but when to BB?

IMO, wait for the international break and FA Cup fixtures to finish and then see how it looks. I don't think it's any more risky one way or another but rather team dependent.

It depends on how balanced the WC team is vs being quite lop sided towards certain teams who may then end up with a blank for you to try and navigate. Its a lot more risky going in without the info if you've used your FH up imo.

    0

The doubles are driven by the blanks in 34. The blanks in 34 are driven by the results of the FA Cup games on the 29-30 March. Then we wait for the announcements about where the blanks move.

With the League Cup, those announcements came before the conclusion of the semi finals. Who knows if the same will happen with the FA Cup, but it's likely to be either side of the 29-30th.

When we play WC we want to optimize the whole team so that we can play the BB. This goes against saving some money for the AM chip... We really should have played the AM after the TC in 24. Slot, Emery and Glasner were all good shouts. Oh well

Early GW30 thoughts. Probably will play WC in GW32 as already used TC.

Is Mykolenko + Trent to Gvardiol and Munoz worth a -4 this week? Defence is creaking if Trent is definitely out.

Generally don't ever hit for defenders but seems like it might pay off straight away or at least over 2 GW's and will likely have them both on WC anyway.

Lot of potential for that City to be wrong though following FA Cup game on the Sunday. Haaland's a no brainer. I wouldn't be sitting too comfy if I was on Marmoush thinking he'll definitely start 30 if he starts the cup game. Same for any of the midfielders.

Wood + Palmer to Haaland (C) + Sarr?

Thinking Salah and Liverpool might struggle vs Everton.

    Thoughts on this WC:

    Areola - Henderson
    Burn - Munoz - Robinson - Lewis - Ait-Nouri
    Gordon - Kluivert - Rogers - Salah - Fernandes
    Haaland - Isak - Mateta

3x Palace, 3x Newcastle. A lot depends on the FA Cup matches. Hoping people won't make loads of transfers and impact the prices too much before then given it's two weeks away!

I would rather have Sels than Henderson, sarr instead of Rogers, huisen instead of Lewis, like the rest

Thanks. Funnily enough I already have Sels in my team with a £0.2 price rise held with him. A lot depends on the FA Cup results as to which way I'll go - Villa may have Southampton followed by a double. Planning a BB on GW 33. Still not activated the WC!

2 weeks to think on this for GW30:

    Munoz in for Robinson
    or
    Sarr in for Elanga?

      Munoz for sure.

Robinson's fixture are rough and Elanga could do well against his old club I reckon

If you have 4 transfers then WC do you carry them over or lose them and back to 1 the following week ?

No idea. You used to lose them if you had 2, but I don't know if they have changed it now.

If Arsenal also get the double in 33 (ips,BRE), then it would be hard to look past Saka.

    Haaland (eve,AVL)
    Salah (lei)
    Saka (ips,BRE)

Think Isak needs to go to fit all three in.

Isak has doubles so that would be foolish?

Why would Arsenal have those games?

They are in weeks 32 and 33.

Guys am I right in thinking:

When you use your wild card your saved transfers get wiped out.

When you use a free hit your saved transfers also get wiped out?

No, not any longer. From this season they carry over. i.e. if you had 2 transfers & W/C or F/H those transfers would carry forward to the following week.

No, you don't lose them, but you also don't gain one in the week you use the chip.

If you have 3 FT and then WC, you will come back to 3 FT

What am I missing from this team that a WC 30/31 team would have?
Trying to envisage how far I'll fall behind with no WC remaining, but a couple of FT

    Sels Areola
    Gabriel Gvardiol Munoz Aina Greaves
    Salah Kluivert Mbuemo Murphy Sarr
    Haaland Isak Mateta

Have a big urge not to change anything in attack, because this is probably the first time in 7 years of playing FPL that I will start 7 penalty takers.

    Sels
    Gabriel, Khusanov, Robinson
    Salah(c), Palmer, Bruno, Kluivert, Mbeumo
    Isak, Wood

    Fabianski, Wissa, Mazraoui, Mykolenko
    1ft, 0.0itb

WC in 31. Sitting at 11k OR
Just do Robinson>Palace defender and I'm good to go, right?

Thoughts on this GW30 WC draft?

    Raya
    Munoz - Gabriel - Kerkez
    J. Murphy - Kluivert - I. Sarr - Salah
    Mateta - Haaland - Isak

    Fabianski - Minteh - Milenkovic - Greaves

Planning to AM on Howe GW31 and poss transfer AM GW33 depending on doubles.

    Cheers

You don't want Greaves and Fabianski in there surely (unless you've already used your BB)
