Have just had a look at Carzolas record in spain , and while steady he wasnt exactly explosive , one season he only had five assists.
To my mind hes still unproven in the premier league , being at a new lub hes obviously been enthusiastic , etc etc , but how long will it be before he starts feeling cold wet and miserable?
When you consider he the same price as Bale who is a proven fantasy points scorer then he starts to look poor value.
Only reason he is so popular is because there appear to be no other decent coverage for arsenal , no room for a forward , its a midfielder we need. Walcott and Gervinho much more explosive with potential big hauls , but rotation risks.
Arteta could be the one to equal carzolas returnsat a cheaper price , he was a good fantasy asset at everton and now that fabregas and nasro have gone he could come into his own.

I dont think RVP will outscore him every week. After next week, United go on a long run of fixtures without facing a very 'strong' team. During this period, SAF will use a 4-4-2 where both will play up top and either will get the occasional rest. Rooney is as good a fantasy prospect as he was last season.
