We’re down to the last four now in the Fantasy Football Scout Paddy Power Cup VII now. The next round will take place over Gameweek 22 and will see David Bevan’s “ange1range1” take on Sir Alex Jnr’s “Milehigh” – the former is the clear underdog going into this one; although he’s nestled inside the top 7,000, David’s opponent has moved ominously into 34th place overall after yesterday’s seven fixtures.

Site regular “WildRover” is the early favourite heading into the second semi-final. He has moved up to 439th in the overall rankings ahead of tonight’s three remaining Gameweek 21 fixtures, while his opponent, Mr KK, is just inside the 30,000 mark. With winter wildcards available, however, the form book could easily be turned on its head as our quartet plot for silverware…

only have .5 left to splash..obviously my DEF is rubbish but rest seems ok?"

      I had a choice to wc now and look what happens or take at least one hit before gw23 and wc after that.
      Ars have good fixtures even after double, so I don't see why there should be major re-build for team after doublegw, like many are planning.
      
      But of course if you have good team atm, definetely keep that wc as long as you can.
      
      Well I think I lost my point for long jada jada jada here 🙂

  It's fine. Yes your defence needs help but that isn't a WC offence 🙂
  
  Schnderlin is fine as a 5th mid... aint no Punchy but nothing to be concerned about.
  I prefer Theo over Caz myself so maybe just do a transfer after GW 22 to get him in for the DGW alongside Caz.
  Berbs is great but playing for a side that is frustrating to watch. Doesn't get many chances and is known to go missing. Wouldn't be WC'ing for him.

    thanks for the insight. sure is no punch but Schnides was .3 cheaper and had to get RSVP in somehow lol. Yeh Theo is the man at the moment. Not sure I want both now, may trade for Mata/Bale if necessary or if he loses form i wont bother as i see Bale/Mata as seasons keepers.
    
    Spewing i picked Benteke over Berbs but it worked out ok this week.
    
    Think I may just get Davies or Harte in for Shorey..

  I like the beefy defence, but with a cheap defence/a midfield downgrade you could get RVP + Aguero instead. I'm a bit wary of going without City attackers if they continue scoring goals.

Since Ian Harte came back into the Reading team he’s played 4 games and scored 6,6,5,4 – for a £3.8m defender, that’s pretty impressive. (3 clean sheets and an assist in that time).

Anyone know the likelihood of him staying in the team? Did he miss all those matches through injury or what?

Supplemental question, for extra kudos:

Anyone planning on buying Carrico when he gets added to FPL? He was captain at Sporting before his contract dispute.

Just read Rafas comments in the Independent about Torres being prepared to be rested when they get a second striker...What an odd situation, Liverpool and Chelsea both have the same issue. Suarez looks like he could run all day every day and never looks tired,,,ever,,,Torres. on the other hand, looks knackered during some games and should really take a chair on the pitch with him for a rest from time to time....Sturridge>Liverpool without a replacement yet...?....strange...they really must have someone lined up...musn't they ?

  Depends on where he goes. If he went to Arsenal I doubt he'd be playing forward unless Santi goes midfield. With Chelsea, he's too rotation-prone and would be favoured in CDM in my opinion. Could be good at United, doubt he'll go to City
