As another Gameweek edges towards its conclusion, we handpick the standout statistics over Saturday and Sunday’s nine Premier League fixtures. Andre Villas-Boas’ shift to 4-3-3 brings a Tottenham new boy onto our radar, a certain Saints frontman catches our attention, City’s midfield schemer offers goal promise, while a trio of Everton’s assets also make the cut:
If you had to choose any 1 out of these then WHO?
Soldado
Sturridge
Benteke
Gw4 and onwards (Don't consider this week)Open ControlsFingers crossed for RVP first goal here. Will hurt me fantasy wise, but have a lucky 15 first goal scorer with dzecko, Salgado and Sturridge already in the bag!
Open ControlsWhat odds did you get and how much did you bet?

Can someone help me regarding price changes please?
I want to transfer Coleman and Benteke into my team in the next 2 weeks, for Ivanovic and Dzeko.
By doing these transfers it leaves me with 0.1 in the bank. However if both rise (73% and 71% on FISO), I won't be able to afford them.
So when do I do my first transfer of Ivanovic to Coleman, right before Coleman is due to rise right? Should I be alright doing these transfers?
Help would be apprieciated.
Cheers.Open ControlsTo Ivan to Coleman tonight.. Benteke probably won't rise, may even fall when people realise he has no game

Who's the best 4.5 keeper?
I have Krul & Cech, looking to downgrade Cech to a 4.5
McGregor - is he going to keep his place at Hull? They've got some decent home fixtures coming up.
Boruc - good fixtures, good defence, but they often struggle in easier home games - so might be a bit annoying when trying to rotate with Krul
Westwood - will he keep his place ahead of Mannone? Tricky fixtures too
Speroni - no thanks
Marshall - Can't see Cardiff keeping many cleanies
Stockdale - Stekelenberg injury doesn't sound good, but international breaks mean there are more gaps between GWs, so not convinced he's a sound option
Daniels - likely to be around for less time than Stockdale
I'm currently thinking of McGregor, but that just seems wrong. Help!Open ControlsIf you intend to keep Cech then get Daniels if Foster is out for this week.

Would I be out of line in saying Sturridge is more essential than Soldado?
Open ControlsI have them both, but Spurs midfield has been poor during the first 2 game. He's being starved of service. Hopefully that improves!
Open Controls
Not at all.. Liverpool look far more creative
Open ControlsNo... equal footing methinks
Open ControlsI have both would get rid of Soldado if I had to chose

how many teams do you guys reckon have hazard in the top 200k?

am i crazy in thinking piazon is a good bet at 4.4 as a value holder??
Open ControlsYes, madness
Open Controlswhy? no one had him anyway so he is unlikely to fall
other option is WHU's morrison who people may put in if he plays in the cup midweek (likely), which would make him susceptible to a fall afterwardsOpen ControlsI would say you'd want someone who will play at least 60 minutes in case you need a sub on?

How does this 3 moves look for the next 3 free transfers:
Walcott, Soldado, Dzeko to 4.9 midfielder, giroud RVPOpen ControlsGreat until someone else gets big points in the meanwhile and you need to change your mind. I'm not sure you can plan 3 weeks ahead with this game

We've heard the old Zlatanisms, this is the latest though:
French reporter: Zlatan, what did you think about the tactical change to 4-3-3?
Zlatan: Good!
French reporter: Why?
Zlatan: Because I say so.Open ControlsBest front 8 starting gw3? budget £65.0m

Thoughts on Paulinho, FPL prospect or give it a miss?
Open ControlsHe'll be a decent shout.. but there'll be better options in the Spurs midfield by weeks end
Open ControlsI didn't see the Spurs game but from all reports he was outstanding and probably one of Spurs most creative. I can see him becoming the Silva of Spurs and once their team starts settling and gelling a little more he could be "da man". I hope he whacks a goal or two in to get things started though
Open ControlsWait some time. If AVB sticks with the same formation he's going to get goals. He took lots of shots, seemed a little bit selfish and has a proven goal scoring record - so he has all the attributes to be a good FF prospect. But that's all going to be useless if AVB goes for a 4-2-3-1
Open ControlsI am seriously considering getting him over Silva for my hazard replacement. He was very impressive yesterday

I've seen the term ''Key Passes'' thrown about a lot.. and have seen it fit to be questioned.
I'm sure there's some statistics linking ''key passes'' with a lot of assists, and I'll be the first to admit that I'm not big into stats.
But I've noticed that both Hazard and Nacer Chadli have 9 this season, joint most in the league.
I've seen every minute of action they have played this season, and while Hazard has created some - Chadli hasn't created any good chances this year.
He's slipped back some balls that have resulted in snap shots - that's about it.
So what is a key pass? Why are they so heavily mentioned if they don't relate directly to good chances created?Open Controls"The final pass or pass-cum-shot leading to the recipient of the ball having an attempt at goal without scoring."
Don't trust key passes much, just like shots on target have a correlation with goals, a much greater correlation can be seen with shots on in box to goals.Open ControlsOpta define a key pass as:
"The final pass or pass-cum-shot leading to the recipient of the ball having an attempt at goal without scoring."
So it's an indication of creativity and assist potential. If the chances created conversion ratio remains the same for any given player, an increase in key passes should indicate an increase in assists.
Chances created = key passes + assistsOpen ControlsAlright, thanks lads.
I suppose you have to take any stat with a grain of salt.Open Controls
It's the pass directly leading to the chance. A chance-assist if you like. The chance goes in and it's an assist.
Chadli's chance map for Swansea suggests 3 chances were in the box (2 from corners, one from a cut back), while the other 3 look like pot shots and mazy dribbles (all Paulinho if I remember).
It is a skewed stat, as it doesn't always reflect quality, but not all assists are from good passes, many are from good work subsequently (see Jose Enrique for Liverpool this week).Open Controlsi can think of at least two excellent "key balls" from Chadli yesterday alone. excellent cross to Pualinho who volleyed at goal and a through ball to Defoe who bottled it.

Does anybody know a good 4.5 & 5.0 MID rotation partnership for the long term?

ANY Thoughts PlzOpen Controlswhat is average no of players from che and manu do you think the top 500k players have?
Open ControlsDo I play Chester (At City....), Turner (At Southampton) or Collins (At Stoke) ?
Open ControlsCollins
Open ControlsCollins at home to stoke of course
Open Controlstuner home also

Open ControlsOnly Chester is away, not the other 2.
Personally, I would try to fit in both Turner and Collins, don't even factor Chester in to your thinking.Open ControlsCollins is home to Stoke!

My Arsenal XI, assuming all players are fit, and we don't sign any new players.
Szczesny-
Sagna- Koscielny- Mertesacker- Gibbs-
Arteta- Ramsey- Wilshere-
Walcott- Podolski/Giroud- Cazorla
I think the 4-3-3 suits us, and this system gives us two alternative central strikers.Open ControlsI think you are forgrtting Rosicky and Wenger playing Walcott over Podolski as centre forward
Open ControlsIsn't that just the normal team with no changes?
Open ControlsPersonally I'd like to see:
Ramsey - Wilshere
Ox - Cazorla - Pod
Giroud
I rate Pod better than Walcott and assuming Rambo and Jack mature into a solid unit this year.Open ControlsNo. We generally don't play three CMs together.
Open ControlsWe finished last season with that line-up: Ramsey beside Arteta and Wilshere behind the striker with Caz on the wing. That's Arsene's first XI I think.

Inside top 500.. with hazard to go
but i guess if RVP scores today... my rank will come downOpen ControlsGreat work.
Entered some leagues if you haven't.

Soldado or Giroud for London derby?
Open ControlsWally and Soldado 🙂
Open ControlsThat's who I have now 🙂 interested to see what others suggest
Open Controls
Any - no matter. Soldado's not been taking too many shots but that should change when they play teams with a high line and Giroud is in tremendous form (a worrying tendency for him FPL wise though is dropping deep to help with link up play, something Soldado has no real interest in)
Open Controls
Okay a better one, Andros Townsend anyone? 5.5m if he can make that position his own then my word he's a bargain.
Open ControlsDef bringing in Rvp in gw4...so assuming you had a WC, whats the best rvp team you would recommend?

Ok, best mid for 4.9? I have Mirallas, Silva, Coutinho & Kim. So, maybe someone who rotates with Kim - that Prowler guy from SOU? Is he nailed on? Apprently, he's on free kicks
