In our second attempt to get the better of Paddy this season, we target a trio of players who are set to entertain one of the promoted sides over the weekend. Tenner in hand, we place our faith in Chelsea, Tottenham and Swansea and hope all three can take advantage of home comforts.
Like many Fantasy managers this weekend, we’re pinning our hopes on Diego Costa for Chelsea’s home encounter with Leicester. The runaway leader of this week’s Captain Poll netted on his debut at Burnley on Monday evening and with Paddy offering 9/2 on Costa to score two or more and the Blues to deliver a clean sheet, we’re prepared to make this our bet of the week and throw £4 of our tenner their way.
We fancy Swansea’s chances of heaping further misery on The Clarets as Sean Dyche’s side roll up to the Liberty. While much of this week’s Fantasy attention has surrounded Gylfi Sigurdsson, we’re opting for Wilfried Bony to do the damage – Paddy are willing to offer 16/1 for Bony to score two or more and the Swans to chalk up a shut-out and we’re more than willing to throw £3 their way and back the Ivorian to open his account for the season.
Our final flutter takes us to White Hart Lane as Spurs prepare for the visit of former manager Harry Redknapp’s QPR. Mauricio Pochettino chose to rest a number of his first-team players for the midweek Europa League win over AEL and amongst those handed the night off was Christian Eriksen. The Dane will be fully refreshed for Sunday’s encounter and with Paddy offering 5/1 on an Eriksen goal and Spurs clean sheet, we part with our remaining £3.
