Goalkeeper – Vito Mannone
If you fancy a flutter, the Black Cats stopper could be on course for a first shut-out of the campaign. Mannone – who sets you back just 7.2m – rolls up to face a Burnley side that has scored just once so far; with star striker Danny Ings sidelined due to a hamstring injury, the hosts may well struggle for goals again. A promising start to the season saw Tottenham’s defence serve up back-to-back clean sheets before conceding in the subsequent two. Mauricio Pochettino will be hoping for a return to that earlier resilience as Spurs welcome out-of-sorts West Brom to White Hart Lane on Sunday afternoon – Hugo Lloris also comes in at 7.2m in this week’s PlayON Player Price List and faces a Baggies side that have failed to score in each of their last three matches.
Defender – Kieran Trippier
Burnley’s right-back looks one to watch this weekend. The newly-promoted side have recently upped their resilience and kept out both Manchester Utd and Crystal Palace in the last two matches – as evidenced by our selection of Mannone, we’re expecting their home clash with Sunderland to be a tight affair but if Sean Dyche’s side can find a way past their opponents, Trippier – who managed twelve assists in the Championship last season – is the man most likely at just 7.5m. A home encounter with Crystal Palace offers Leighton Baines (8.1m) a chance to continue the form that has served up a goal and two assists in his last couple of appearances across all competitions. As results improve for Roberto Martinez’ side, the left-back’s points potential at both ends of the pitch may well prove crucial against an Eagles side that shipped three in their previous road trip under Neil Warnock.
Midfielder – Stewart Downing
West Ham’s in-form midfielder offers an under the radar option as he prepares for the visit of former club Liverpool. In spite of a number of new arrivals, the Reds still look far from convincing at the back and with a goal and assist accrued already, Downing looks a decent shout at 8.6m. We’re heavily backing the Toffees this weekend for the home clash with Palace. Kevin Mirallas welcomes the Eagles in a rich vein of form and has now scored in each of his last three appearances – the Merseysiders warmed up for this one with a 4-1 Europa League thrashing of Schalke and, at 10.3m, the Belgian looks too good to ignore.
Forward – Radamel Falcao
The Colombian arrives at Old Trafford with a phenomenal record, scoring 104 goals in 139 appearances for his previous European clubs. Introduced to the proceedings as a sub last weekend, Falcao takes up just 10.1m of your budget and while he’s by no means certain to start, could still wreak havoc off the bench as the Red Devils roll up to Leicester. Rested for Tottenham’s Europa League exertions last night, Emmanuel Adebayor international will be fully refreshed for a plum home clash with struggling West Brom. Available for 10.6m, the Togo international has already delivered a goal and two assists in his first four fixtures and will fancy his chances against a Baggies backline that has conceded at least twice in three of the opening four Gameweeks.
