Granville’s lackadaisical approach to the new campaign might just explain why he’s treading water. Missing deadlines and price rises, my ScoutCast co-host badly needs to introduce some organisation into his season if he’s to keep pace – the man needs a PA – get your applications in.

With Granville floundering, I’ve decided to lay down my Wildcard to potential rub further salt into his wounds. Is it a chronic case of “jerky knee”? Granville certainly thinks (hopes) so.

We chat over my Wildcard revolution, analyse how the heavy-hitting midfielders are failing to pull their weight and rinse through the usual regulars in the same disorganised fashion.

          i think he's a great player and scores in batches
          in fpl he's too expensive to bank on especially as manager does seem to favour jovetic-who i guess will start with aguero and dzecko come on as sub to score one
          so in conclusion-enjoy the player but not for investing on fpl

          to be honest the only citeh player i do play in fantasyland is zab -he's always there or therabouts and relatively rotation safe.....

        Soton have the best defense in the PL
        Leicester have the worst defense in the PL
        Burnley have 0 attempts on goal in the last 4 matches 😯
        But Clyne can get attacking returns,too! 😀

          You have answered yourself 😉 Saints have best defense and Spurs aren't scoring many goals at the moment which suggests possible clean sheet plus Clyne's attacking return 🙂
          Leicester having worst defense means they do have chance to concede against any side and Moore dont have any attacking threat.

              I have the same problem, except with Bertrand. Probably going to go with Bertrand because of his attacking threat and a possible CS.

              Would suck to bench a defender who scores or assists.

    Problem here is that I see Baines and Welbeck pretty much essential gw8 onwards and can't have them without hits.

    Lads I'm in a bit of a pickle...

    I've been burnt already twice this season by benching Clyne, and I'm planning on doing it again. I have Forster in goal and would be playing Bardsley over him.

    My reasoning is: Bardsley is a great differential (0.7% ownership), he's playing against his old club who have failed to score in their last 2 games against Burnley and Swansea, I don't want to double up on SOT defence away at Spurs BUT Clyne probably has more attacking threat.

    Thoughts? Do I go with my gut and stick with Bardsley, or do I avoid the risk of more Clyne bench points and play him instead? Thanks in advance.

      Same thing has happened to me with Clyne. Benching him for Bardsley is the right thing to do this week. As were the decisions to bench Clyne the previous 2 times. Statistically speaking these are correct decisions and if you keep making them correctly variance will soon change in your favour. IMO of course 8)

      Don't rotate Ulloa, if you did that so far then you probably wouldn't have got his goals against Everton, Arsenal and United.

      Id do those but hold off on the Baines transfer this week, you can play Taylor, Rafael and Moore and you'll have another week to see the defensive credentials of Burnley and Leicester to see who you should take out. Can't see a clean sheet for Baines at Old Trafford.
