After the best Gameweek tally in living memory, I reserve the right for a bit of a gloat. Having risked the Wildcard back in Gameweek 7, the stars aligned and everything fell into place last weekend, leaving my ScoutCast co-host, grumpy Granville, grabbing at straws and smashing TV sets in frustration.

After last season’s defeat, I revel in my moment of glory but still find time to lock horns with Granville over the great Costa debate. Is Jose playing with our minds? I certainly think so but, as Granville points out, I reckon the Lunar landings were fake. I love a good conspiracy, me.

        Hmm, could do that but would need a -4 to change Chadli to Boyd and then either Welbeck /Pelle to Costa?!

          Exactly, that would be my exit strategy. The other would be getting Welbeck & ADM out and Aguero & Boyd in this week... actually leaning towards this now as 4 other strong mids...

          Not opposed to a -4 for Kun. I'd just look somewhere else to try and mitigate the -4. Most realistic scenario for a keeper is a cs for the new one and 2pts for the old one so you break even roughly. I don't like it much.

              A good option. Liverpool defence is rank. Every chance hull will score. I would certainly not get rid of the three midfielders

    Looking for some friendly advice on the best transfer options this week please. Current team:

    Bego / McCarthy

    Ivan, Clyne, Chambers, Duff, Moore

    Sterling, Fab, ADM, Tadic, Siggy

    Costa, Pelle, Welbs

    $0 in the bank & have 2 FT's. Would you...

    A) OUT> Welbs & ADM. IN> Aguero & Boyd.
    B) OUT> Costa & ADM. IN> Aguero & Eriksen or possibly Chadli.
    C) For a -4 hit...OUT> Ivan. IN> Baines.
    D) Sit it out and wait for further news on the injuries.

    The only certainty is that I'm gonna be getting Aguero this week (& Baines either this week or next). To facilitate this one of the big guns in my midfield has got to go. This is where I'm really struggling, but the current order for the chop in my head is...
    1) ADM - tough fixtures, possible injury, had a fair slice of luck, not the most advance midfielder, most expensive.
    2) Fab - relies too heavily on assists, plays plenty of games in CM, could miss Costa's presence & had an insane start to the season which has tailed off a bit...
    3) Sterling - still not convinced with his end product yet, poor Liverpool form, no Sturridge for another 4 weeks

    Who else is worth considering? Any thoughts welcome...

      We have very similar teams 🙂 only difference is your Moore my Hutton and I've Wilson you have Chambers (which I see you transferred last week).
      I'd love to know what you decide in the end as I've the identical problem!
