A few weeks back we gave a shout-out to Fantasy Football Exchange, a new and fresh-faced weekly Fantasy Football experience. The guys behind the game kindly set up a Fantasy Football Scout league for Gameweek 12 with a £500 prize pot and a good number of you landed a nice little earner from it.
Now Fantasy Football Exchange are gearing up for the frantic next few weeks with a special Christmas tournament.
The £2500 Guaranteed Festive Challenge is a four-Gameweek long league which costs just £5 to enter. That’s a guaranteed prize pot, although that can rise even further as the entrant number increase.
The rules are simple: the ‘£2500 Guaranteed Festive Challenge’ runs from Gameweek 17 – 20 (starting December 20 and ending after the New Year’s Day fixtures), and you’ll be able to make unlimited transfers between now and when the league starts. Once it’s underway, you’ll have FOUR transfers available in total.
This is not a ‘winner takes all’ league, but one with a ‘sliding scale’ structure – so ALL the top finishers will scoop a slice of the prize pot.
Fantasy Football Exchange is a breeze to pick up, mainly because, at its core, the game is based on a similar ruleset to the Fantasy Premier League model we know and love. With very similar pricing, it’s a good bet that you’ll even be able to turn your current FPL squad into your FFE lineup.
There are some key differences, however. Firstly, FFE recognises that even the likes of Karl Henry deserve some love and have beefed up the points potential of defensive midfielders. The FFE bonus points are also allocated by collating the player rankings from three national papers to give our overall marks – arguably a fairer method of finding the top three players from each match.
If you missed out in Gameweek 12, you’ve every incentive to get involved ahead of this weekend and put yourself in the hat for a piece of that £2500.
Look out for FFE’s preview of the tournament over on their blog on Friday; we’ll be publishing the FFS squad on our social channels prior to the weekend deadline.

Should I start Foster or Heaton? I already have Austin which is making me lean towards Heaton....
Then again, Spurs are looking mighty fine.
