Our Sunday delve into the members data arrives once again this evening. We cast an analytical eye over Tottenham’s goalscoring playmaker, Palace’s in-form frontman and the Magpies’ flourishing Frenchman, whilst the worrying form of Villa’s misfiring target man and United’s skipper give cause for concern.

Anyone think Bellerin is nailed on for Arsenal? Would love a 4.4 route into the Arsenal backline.
He's not. Dimples.
I've taken a risk with him, Cameron out.
I'm thinking this. Only challenge from Chambers until Debuchy returns?
One of my favourites cheers Paul!
Bit of a transfer dilemma for me. Want to ditch Siggy but have no idea who to swap him for. Already have Sanchez, Haz and Downing. Chadli would be the sensible option but tough fixtures are incoming. Who would you buy? Have 0.7 in the bank.
Puncheon
Intriguing - hadn't even thought about him. Cheers.
RMWCT
Panti, Krul
Terry, Clyne, Bruce, Bellerin, Wisdom
Hazard, Sanchez, Sterling, A.Johnson, Puncheon
Costa, Aguero, Bojan
0.8itbThose numbers aren't very big!!
This article and Captain Sensible are easily the two best of the week. Gotta watch the NFL but looking forward to it. Cheers.
Best two articles for sure
Well...anyone else feeling the desolation? I don't think there is a worse feeling when your WC team does sooo much worse than what you had.
Sold downing for Haz and costa for Kun. Not real happy but it's the end of the season that counts right?Non-member here, curious, just how big are these numbers?
From a scale of 1-10, ten being a big numbers, would you consider them an 8?Pay the fee and support the site.
Next season mate, next season. I have every intention
indeed
Well 36 is the biggest number there but they've added a few numbers together. It's still not very big though. I went to the University of Numbers and there are much bigger numbers out there. They let me see some old numbers that were bigger than 1,000,000,000,000.
Membership is worth the price of a couple of pints in my opinion.
*I live in Fulham.
..and you drink pints of cocktails 🙂
😆
🙂
36 is quite the number, quite huge if I must say so myself.
UoN? The biggest number I've seen is 46, and that's my ex's shoe size.Did you ever try adding the size of left shoe and right shoe together?
I never found an opportune time to do such a thing, she left her shoe at my house. The other one, well, let's say it's in a better place now
RMWCT. I'm happy to wait another week or two to before potentially swapping Cost for Aguero.
Foster - Myhill
Terry - Bertrand - Hutton - PvA - Wasilewski
Sanchez - Hazard - Silva - Cazorla - Elia
Costa - Kane - Austin
£0.7 ITB.I like it except for Silva and austin
Sterling or Eriksen over Silva perhaps?
11 touches in the box by Jesus Navas!
this irks me a little, because all of those touches were brutal. never saw a player get in so many good positions but consistently not beat the 1st defender with crossIt boggles my mind how Jesus Navas not only continues to get starts for City but how he is even on a club of that size.
agreed. ok, he's a good player, but there's no way mourinho would have him in his team. good not great
yep, he was truly awful.
worse than antonia valencia for doing nothing with final ball - shocking player.
Do you giys reckon Spurs could beat arsenal or Man U to a top four spot?
No.
Suggestions for this move. For a hit..
Hazard to Elia
one of Kane or Austin (probably Austin) to Costa.
Already have Kun.
Yay or nayI'm considering the same move (Haz & Austin >> Elia & Costa). Also have Kun & Fab (and Kane).
Keep thinking about Haz + Austin points versus Costa + Elia total points. Favours the former I fear so holding off.
Costa could blank against City and Haz could get a brace at home.
Costa + Kun up top is appealing though.Ni
44 all out. Very poor.
76 all out and halved my rank from 74k
Show some sympathy. If you arrived at my grandma's funeral shouting "My grandma's alive", you'd be sternly spoken to.
Well that escalated quickly
Did Rooney to Aguaro and Azpi to Chester last night to avoid price rises and falls. Now that Cester is crooked is it worth changing him Bellerin or somebody else for -8 hit. I'll be starting PVA, Trippier, Wisdom and Hutton is my 1st sub? Help please thanks?
Jan wc still intact. Great, eh? Problem is, since the start of Jan my team has finally started to fire - 78 last week, 78 this week so far (Baines to go.) I can't help but shake the feeling that wildcarding a winning formula will kill the upwards momentum I'm building - sure, I'm still without Kun but don't feel the need to secure his services atm.
Anyone else in a similar boat? Solution just to wait it out?Played mine last week, wish I hadn't. Would hold if you are happy. Play it in the last week available for giggles.
Absolutely.
Many managers, me included, built their teams with a GW 24 wildcard in mind. My team was good for GW 21 (75 pts), GW 22 (67 with Baines and Wisdom to come) and is good for GW 23 as well. I don't want Aguero till GW 24, today's blank was no surprise and neither will a blank at Chelsea be.
There are players in my team I was unwilling to lose too soon - for example I wanted Downing this week and I want to keep Baines till GW 23. But they will go with my wildcard, around 50% of my squad will change. So the only reason to go early was (a) fear of Aguero scoring a lot of points in GW 22 and 23, which I discounted, and (b) fear of a runaway bandwagon lifting his price too far, which I decided to risk. He may be 0.4 higher when I bring him in than what he would have been but other players in my team who I am selling will have risen too. I will only be maybe 0.2 worse off. But a lot of points better off.
My Overall rank for the last 3 weeks
GW20 39,380
GW21 39,084
GW22 39,072
Guess everyone has the same team..um no. this is probably unusual
No. I don't have Aguero or Costa.
Great rank, unlucky with Giroud but correct call to bench,
Hopefully Baines does well tomorrow, for us both 🙂
ok lads views on these wildcards.
A) foster gilks
baird gardos wasllewski terry van anholt
di marie hazard sanchez elia walters
aguero kane costa
B) foster gilks
baird gardos wasllewski terry van anholt
di marie hazard sanchez fabregas walters
aguero kane austin.
got 0.7 in the bank. worth to upgrade gilks to krul as rotates quite well with foster?
please destroy my team and useful feedback appreciated.Team I'm playing in a H2H league currently has 4 Man City players, inc Bony. What happens?
It's fine but next transfer HAS to be a ManC player out.
Ok cheers. Looks Weird with 4 same team.
Thoughts?
Pantilimon
Bertrand Wisdom Bellerin
Sanchez Cazorla Hazard Di Maria
Aguero Costa Kane
Bench: Naylor, Baird, Lucas
Cazorla does poorly? Oscar replaces him the week after.
Di Maria does? Fabregas or Silva can.Yeah that is pretty similar to what I am playing around with. The problem with yours that I don't like so much is the lack of depth. I think it's better to run with a more budget friendly fourth mid while also having a decent fifth mid and having a more balanced back five. We will need it soon when there are cancellations from Cup finals, DGWs, etc.
Good point. I feel as though if that happens I'd be willing to use my transfers to compensate. I can't think of any cheaper midfielders who can do the job.
Downing? Great price but poor fixtures. Liverpool, Southampton and Utd look more defensive.
Chadli? Own Kane. Don't like the double Spurs with those fixtures.
Anyone else like Puncheon or Elia is too punty for me. What do you think?I just got rid of Downing. Too bored having owned him for so long and I feel he has been marginalized somewhat lately for West Ham playing out wide and such things. Think he'll struggle for points in the tough fixtures they have to come. Chadli I would much prefer but I am not able to find the money for him. I am looking at Puncheon and Moses as my 4th and 5th at the moment. I may decide to ditch Terry for funds but I feel that not owning a Chelsea defender will just sting in the long run with pretty much everyone having a share with them so I am reluctant to do so.
I honestly think Chelsea will continue this amazing defensive run but looking at my defenders I can see a lot of cleansheets still. Leaving the option for a triple Chelsea attack appeals to me. Costa and Fabregas look to keep up their form and Hazard seems like a must.
Seems like a tough decision. Puncheon for the short-term seems fine but what's your plan B if that fails?
I got Chadli and Downing right now and they've been great but I'm not keen on either at the moment. Tough calls to make when making a WC 🙁Yeah I feel good about a lot of other "value" types in defense but I think that going with Terry, Soton, and three cheapies is the safest thing to do so I am leaning that way...but who knows what I'll be thinking as next GW comes closer.
My plan B would be downgrading AdM and upgrading Puncheon...pretty simple. Depending on how Moses kicks on I might not even need to bother and I can switch him in to the fourth mid spot and start him week in week out. He was nails before he got hurt and if he can stay healthy this go around I have high hopes for him. He is so central to everything positive Stoke do and I like him.
I think having Downing as a 5th mid is simply too expensive.what's the concern w/Chadli? The guy scores FPL points consistently.
Two Serious questions: Costa or Aguero? Or Both?
Both
both
Both. Aguero will absolutely score shedloads now that he's fit, Costa will continue to score practically every game. They'll drain you of cash but they're dead certs.
Both if you can, but will be at a price.
Aguero first imo,
I'd prefer to have both right now thoughPretty conclusive!
Hey guys. Would appreciate some advice on who to buy to fill the gap. Thanks in advance.
Foster - Myhill
Terry - Clyne - Hutton - PVA - 4.6
A) Stoke (Wollscheid/Pieters)
B) West Brom (Wisdom/Baird)
C) Hull (Chester)
D) Newcastle (Coloccini)
E) Arsenal (Bellerin - dodgy though)Stoke have good fixtures. I studied their defence carefully last week then bought the wrong bloody player cos everyone else was. Now changed Cameron to Muniesa, who I should've bought in the first place!
Cheers
REPOST:
Hey guys I'm going to play my WC next week, what move should I do this week?
(A) Downing > Elia/Puncheon
(B) Sigurdsson > Elia/Puncheon
(C) Jenkinson > Koscielny
(D) Courtois > Ospina/De Gea
Current Team:
Courtois
Skrtel Baines Wisdom
Hazard Boyd Sanchez(C) Siggy
Kane Costa Rooney
Subs: McCarthy, Downing Jenkinson HuttonRooney > Giroud. or Jenkinson > Kosc. A and B are one-way transfers.
Rooney out. Work Aguero & ADM in. Courtios to a 5M keeper.
Siggy out before downing.
I have 2 FT & 0.2 ITB ..
Best 2 players for a one-week punt .. this is my team ..
Foster/Panti
Reid/Baines/Skrel/Duff/Hutton
Hazard/Fabregas/Sterling/ADM/Downing
Costa/Kane/Austinyou need Sanchez
Sanchez over ADM or Fab, fund it by ridding Baines
Any price change sites currently accurate with all the wc?
Likely risers and fallers tonight chaps?
Have 7.6m for a mid: Puncheon, Elia, Downing, Henderson or Siggy?
I like Puncheon at the minute but Downing is consistent
Actually, Downing's fixtures are terrible so might rule him out.
Ospina at £4.8m looking good. Szczesny is a clown and until Ospina does something terrible he will be number 1
Thoughts on this team lads? 0.3 ITB
Foster Myhil
Terry Clyne Wisdom PVA Wasliewski
Sanchez Hazard Sterling Elia Albrighton
Costa Kane Kun
Sterling or Cazorla in your opinion? Also, what is the general consensus on Elia?On WC. Is Berahino over Kane mad? Fixtures for Spurs not great? Is Bellerin or Ospina nailed also?
