Pep Guardiola proved himself the villain of the piece once again on Saturday afternoon as he named Raheem Sterling (£11.2m) on the bench for the Gameweek 9 visit of Burnley.
The England international was signed by over 200,000 Fantasy Premier League managers ahead of the game, but has fallen victim to the Manchester City rotation policy for the second time this season.
Sergio Aguero (£11.3m) survived the rotation once again while David Silva (£8.5m) and Benjamin Mendy (£6.2m) also started the match. Kevin De Bruyne (£9.7m) is back in the matchday squad but fit enough only for the bench currently.
To counter Man City’s threat, Sean Dyche has lined up Burnley with five in midfield, Ashley Barnes (£5.7m) dropping out to allow Steven Defour (£5.4m) to return to the side following injury.
There was relief for Ryan Fraser (£6.0m) owners as he came through his latest injury scare to start against Southampton. Team-mate Josh King (£6.4m), also a doubt before Gameweek 9, was also in the starting XI.
The Saints have gone with a 4-4-2 formation with Danny Ings (£5.6m) and Charlie Austin (£5.5m) leading the line.
Christian Eriksen (£9.2m) and Moussa Dembele‘s (£4.9m) return to fitness saw them only considered good enough for the bench for Spurs.
Wolves manager Nuno named an unchanged side for the ninth time in a row, extending the record he broke earlier in the season.

Didn’t want to keep Mane but put off by Coty rotation. How does this look with my banked cash and 2 FT’s?
Trippier/Murray > Maguire/Lacazette
